Working on this project felt a lot like playing to me. Children use building blocks to construct towers, castles, etc. I used visual blocks of buildings which already existed to build photographic compositions. Although the assembly process and materials differed, the creative process was identical. Both relied heavily on a willingness to play and experiment, with no limitations but one’s imagination.
